Support Indigenous Small Business and Organizations

This season of transforming and transmuting shadow into strength falls during a season where history has been rewritten to uphold white supremacy. Indigenous People's Day is a time to check in with the land you're on, and to disrupt the social norm of business as usual. Honor Native Land, and read up on ways to be in solidarity. Lets all make an effort now, tomorrow, and every day to root for and support Indigenous communities whose land we are one.

Below are some favorite makers, and some larger ways to support the Indigenous communities through non-profits!

Strong Hearts Native Help Line - “A safe domestic, dating and sexual violence helpline for American Indians and Alaska Natives, offering culturally-appropriate support and advocacy daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. CT. Anonymous and confidential.”

American Indian Foods- an incredible directory of First Nations food and craft!

Native Arts and Culture Foundation- Aims to increase recognition and visibility for Native artists in national and international arenas and power the artistic growth and magnify the voices of Native artists through the development of new works or completing projects in motion.
